Welcome friends, if you have found this page you have done so by divine appointment. We believe God ordains our steps and yours have led you here. As believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ, God his Father and the ever-present Holy Spirit, we are delighted to welcome you to Good News Ministries. Located, in the quiet out skirts of Monroe, North Carolina, GNM is both a home fellowship and a restorative destination for ministry leaders.
We love community; our home fellowship meets most Sundays in Thee Family Room* at the house, where we come together to worship, hear God’s Word, and learn what living out an Acts 2 church fellowship is like. Service time: 10 AM.
The Fathers house is a concentrated, undiluted focus on the love of God towards His children. The Fathers House Intensive (FHI) is not confined by a predetermined curriculum, but it does have a ministry structure. Its purpose is to Refresh, Renew & Revive leaders who are in ministry. Whether the leadership is at a church, para ministry, global outreach, or evangelistic association, the Fathers House Intensive (FHI) is tailored to each individual(s) particular needs, inspiring a new level of spiritual growth and healing.
Individual sessions can be scheduled with Pastors Ron and Ronda. These range from one to two-hour blocks during the week, as schedules permit.
Pastors Ron and Ronda have been married—and serving in ministry together—for 45 years. Originally from North Carolina (Ron from Gastonia and Ronda from Monroe), they’ve shared a lifelong passion for Jesus and a deep love for people.
They are proud parents of two grown sons. Their oldest, Samuel, is married and has two children—a son and a daughter. Their youngest, Joseph, serves alongside them at Good News Ministries.
Ron and Ronda each encountered the Lord at a young age, but like many, spent their early adult years learning what it truly meant to walk with Him. In a time when there were few spiritual mentors to help guide young adults, they leaned into God's grace and grew in their faith together.
Now in their 70s, their hearts remain as tender and passionate as ever. They carry a deep burden to help anyone who is hungry for more of Jesus.
Their greatest joy today is seeing lives transformed—whether through healing, peace, deliverance, or simply a deeper relationship with Christ. Their door (and hearts) are always open.
"In all these years, we’ve never met a single person that Jesus wasn’t ready to help. He’s always reaching—always healing, restoring, and calling people into a richer life in Him."
